How We Support Donors

We collaborate with donors worldwide to enhance their practices and build capacity in effectively supporting networks. This includes providing strategic guidance, coaching, and support to help donors design and deploy funding approaches for networks addressing complex societal issues.

Our support to network donors involves:

  • Customized coaching and strategic advisory support to enhance donor understanding of operating effectively operating in a network environment and designing impactful funding support for networks.

  • Collaborating with donor staff to develop funding approaches, including developing theories of change, supporting strategy development, undertaking targeted research, and presenting strategies and results to Boards.

  • Utilizing evidence-based tools and expertise to diagnose network needs, establish priorities, and evaluate impact.

  • Providing direct support to funded networks in collaboration with donors to address critical challenges.

  • Acting as network backbones or manager(s) to coordinate networks on behalf of donors and network members.

  • Facilitating convenings between donors and networks, including gatherings of network grantees to share insights and explore collaboration opportunities.
