What is the time commitment?

Virtual Summer Camp will take place over three weeks from July 12 to July 29, from Monday to Thursday of each week. The anticipated time commitment for camp is approximately 5 hours per week. 

Virtual Summer Camp is designed to be flexible and accessible to accommodate campers’ workloads, time zones, and schedules. Through a combination of live sessions with set times as well as self-directed activities that can be done at any time, participants "choose their own adventure" to complete the parts of camp that are most important to them. Live sessions will be recorded and shared and all materials made available to participants through the end of August to ensure access to anything you missed during camp. 

Can I register for only a portion of the event?

Yes. You can register for the full three-week camp or for only the first two weeks of camp. We encourage you to choose the learning experience that best fits your needs. 

When will registration close? 

Registration will close one week prior to the start of camp.

What discounts do you offer? 

We offer a discount of 15% for groups registering together and a discount of 50% for those individuals working with racial justice networks. Please contact Seema at seema@collectivemindglobal.org for more information about discounts.

When and how will I receive materials? 

We will communicate with you via email using whatever email address you provide at registration. We will be in touch in the weeks leading up to camp to get your feedback, provide information, and share all learning materials. 

What are learning circles and how do I opt in? 

For those that opt in, campers will be organized into learning circles, small groups of 4-5 participants around which connections at camp can begin to be made and support offered and received. Campers will be able to indicate their interest in joining a learning circle in the pre-camp survey that we will send you to complete following registration. If you choose to be part of a learning circle, we will use the information you provide us in your survey response to group you with other participants who have similar interests and are ideally in a similar time zone so it’s easy to communicate. Campers will be introduced to their learning circles prior to the start of camp.

What is the refund policy?

Registration fees will be non-refundable. Substitutions are allowed. Please email Seema at seema@collectivemindglobal.org with the name, email, and title of the replacement camper if you’d like to make a substitution.
